The work has varied from new sub-stations, 125mm water mains to site from a mile away, silo bases, drainage, new building bases and associated services, car parks and paving to a variety of finishes. All works had to be carried-out to an excellent standard.
Facility management services to Renault F1 notably included the supply of ductile iron for the access roads and car park, bespoke galvanised steel covers for services access, and notably the extra wide MEA channel drain at EN3000 300mm wide complete with F900 grating.
Well over-spec, perhaps, but these Formula 1 teams don’t mess about and at least Renault F1 can now land an aeroplane without worry should Bernie Ecclestone ever wish to make a flying visit.
